I noticed today that Transition Culture has a post indicating that they are working on the Totnes Energy Descent Plan, particularly the issue of whether the town can feed itself.

This is influenced by a paper from Simon Fairlie asking whether Britain can feed itself which is well worth reading. I have often wondered about whether Japan can actually feed itself. Wonder if anyone is working on this?
Anyway take a look at the post on Transition Culture for more details:

The Transition Town Totnes is also worth looking at in more detail - http://www.totnes.transitionnetwork.org/
