Alexandros Gasparatos is a James Martin Fellow at the Biodiversity Institute (Oxford University). Before that he conducted research at the UNU Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) and the University of Dundee. His background is in chemistry, environmental science and ecological economics. His research interests lie at the intersection of energy security, food security, ecosystem services and environmental sustainability.
