Anoosh Soltani is a PhD student in Human Geography at the University of Waikato, New Zealand, researching the life experiences of Muslim women living in the Waikato region. She holds a master’s degree in environmental studies and sustainability science from Lund University, Sweden. Her research interests include affectual geographies, identities, body, and geographies of gender, ethnicity and religion. She previously was a research intern at the UNU Institute on Globalization, Culture and Mobility (UNU-GCM), and the UNU Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS).
