Deljana Iossifova is a Lecturer in Urban Studies at the University of Manchester. She holds a PhD in Public Policy Design (Tokyo Institute of Technology) and a Diploma in Architecture (ETH Zurich). Before joining the University of Manchester, she worked on the collaborative research project Scarcity and Creativity in the Built Environment at the University of Westminster and was a PhD/Postdoctoral Fellow with the Sustainable Urban Futures programme at the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS — now UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability).
