Masahito Kamimura is Director of the World Wide Fund for Nature Japan Coral Reef Conservation and Research Centre on Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, Japan. With a background in environmental planning and rural planning, his current research interests include satoumi, sustainable community development and community-based management.
