Puspita Dirgahayani joined the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) in October 2010 as a UNU-IAS Postdoctoral Fellow, under the Sustainable Urban Futures Programme. At UNU-IAS, she conducts research on policy instruments and issues for achieving low-carbon cities in developing countries, particularly related to the transportation sector. Puspita holds a Bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) in Bandung, Indonesia. After graduation, she gained working experiences in the center of urban and regional studies of ITB and the national planning agency (BAPPENAS) as a planner assistant and an expert staff respectively.
