Reiko Amano is a writer and Director of the Committee to Regenerate Healthy Forests in Japan. She is a member of the Japanese Committee for the “International Year of Forests.” Her many publications include “Avoiding reliance on Oil,” ”Revival of Forestry: The last challenge,” and “Dams and Japan.”
