In the last century, Bill worked as an editor and supervisory editor with the US Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service; as a freelance technical writer/editor; and as founding editor-in-chief of Computing Japan magazine. Since 1998, he has juggled two part-time roles: communications specialist with a global management consulting firm, and editor at UNU — where he currently is senior editor in the Media Centre. Bill holds a Master of Environmental Sciences (M.En.) degree from Miami University (Ohio).
